- Increased biogas from MicroSludge processed waste activated sludge enables more renewable energy to be produced, displacing energy from non-renewable sources;
- With less residual sludge for dewatering and disposal, fewer truck haulage trips are needed, producing less diesel fuel exhaust; and
- Emit less methane and nitrous oxide from on-going degradation of sludge after disposal.
