MicroSludge has achieved improved anaerobic digester performance at lab, pilot and full-scale trials. The extent of the benefits are often dependent on a plant’s sludge characteristics, digester configurations, and digester operations.

In some plants, up to 90% Volatile Solids Reduction of feed WAS has been achieved and verified by CH2M HILL. This has resulted in increased WAS to biogas conversion, and in faster digestion.
